Suzanne Fanning

My family began going to St. Pius in 1988 after moving to Bowie from Miami. I’ve been married 50 years, and we have 2 grown sons. I have been the SPX Funeral Coordinator since retiring as the weekend coordinator 18 months ago. I’m able to assist parishioners during a stressful time planning their loved one’s funeral. I also serve as an EMHC and am a member of Sodality. I love to quilt and have started to paint. I started by using watercolors but have expanded to many other mixed media. Ask my husband - the Amazon truck drivers know us very well now!!! I enjoy riding my bike and watching the DE sunsets in the spring, summer, and fall. I also LOVE visiting my family in North Carolina. As far as ice cream... Mint chocolate chip has recently been replaced with Chocolate chip cookie dough!
